| The committee from the Foundation "Liberation Museum Zeeland" guides the museum, the daily management is in the hands of the manager administrator / director of the museum. It is clear immediately who must do what and where they must give an account of how things have been done. Within the museum it is the Administrative Director to whom the volunteers should report, as should the various project groups and the Friend's society. The Administrative Director is invested with the power necessary to take all decisions concerring the use 80 volunteers, administrative tasks, and the care of the permanent collection and special exhibitions. Decisions that cover wider ground than these task, must be discussed with the Executive Committee before he takes action. Since january 2008 the income Tax Authorities have given the Foundation Liberation Museum Zeeland the status of an A.N.B.I. - ie it is an istitute of general benefit to society. This means that the museum is not out to make a profit. This private individuals or businesses can give donations to the museum which can be deducted from their income- or corporation tax.
